School liaison programUSQ offers a comprehensive school liaison program to assist prospective students gain a good understanding of what USQ has to offer them and how it will suit their further education needs. This school liaison program is made up of campus tours where USQ invites students to come and visit the Campus to get a feel for both the University and local community itself; school visits where we come to your school and talk to students about University life and their further education options; and other activities. Career events and activitiesIn addition to campus tours and school visits USQ is involved in a wide range of career events and activities throughout the year including career markets and expositions, information sessions and Guidance Officer Days. Head Start programThe Head Start program provides high achieving Year 11 and 12 students with the chance to commence University study. Head Start courses are offered on-campus at Toowoomba, Springfiled, Fraser Coast and also externally. GO USQAs another means of servicing the information needs of our schools and other people providing career advice, USQ is distributing a quarterly newsletter. This newsletter will provide up-to-date information on USQ programs and changes, career events, Education Training Reforms and other information of interest. FormsForms for teachers, career advisors and guidance counsellors to request a school visit, a campus visit or to order publications from USQ.
