School visits

The USQ School Liaison team is keen to come to your school and talk to your students about applying for university, their different tertiary options, university life and USQ in particular.

The School Liaison team travel regularly to schools located across central and northern New South Wales and Queensland, talking to Year 10, 11 and 12 students. The School Liaison team is also happy to speak at parent and student presentation evenings and participate in school career markets and events.

If you would like a representative from USQ to come and visit your students please fill in the School Liaison Form (PDF*) and fax to the number at the bottom of the form.

Be sure to fill in all details of your school, the year of the students who will be present, as well as any particular areas of interest, so that we can tailor a presentation to meet your particular student’s needs. Once we receive your form we will check the School Liaison schedule and let you know if the date is suitable. A week before your proposed talk, we will contact you again to confirm the visit and to get any final information or directions.

Please note that because time for visits is often restricted and travel can be expensive, we try to ensure that as many students as possible attend the sessions and get value out of the presentation. Therefore, it is preferable if these sessions are made compulsory for students or are organised as part of class time.

For more information on organising a visit to your school, please contact the School Liaison team on +61 7 4631 2653 or email marketing@usq.edu.au.
