International student

USQ defines an International student as a student who is enrolled in a course of study with the university and is not:

  • an Australian Citizen 
  • a New Zealand Citizen
  • an Australian Permanent Resident, including Australian permanent humanitarian visa holders.

Students who are studying in Australia on a student visa are considered as International on-campus students. Students who are in Australia and do not hold a student visa are considered International off-campus. Students who are not in Australia and study direct with USQ or via an overseas Partner institution are considered International distance students.
