How long should my nomination be?

Your nomination should be no more than 12 pages in total (including the signed nomination form). See section 3 ‘Submit supporting documentation’ for further details.

Can I send my nomination by email?

Yes, nominations will be received by email (accepted file types - DOC, DOCX, PDF, RTF, TXT, ODT). Remember to also send your signed nomination form.

Can my project have a focus other than on women?

Yes, the focus of your project can extend beyond women, but the nominating parties must all be female.

What is considered as a regional, rural and remote area of Queensland?

A regional, rural or remote area is one that is not in a metropolitan area.

Can I apply if I am male?

No, these awards are open to female applicants only.

Can I apply if I live in a metropolitan area?

No, these awards are open to people living in regional, rural and remote areas of Queensland.

Can I apply if I live outside of Queensland?

No, these awards are only open to residents of Queensland.

Who can apply?

These awards are open to Australian citizens, persons granted Australian permanent residency and USQ staff and students.
