Preparing to graduate
Graduation information is sent to all students who have been identified by their faculty as eligible to graduate from a degree program. The information will be sent to you approximately two weeks after the release of end of semester results. You will be sent:
If you believe you are eligible to graduate and have not received graduation information, contact your faculty for advice.
Graduate Response
To advise of your attendance at a graduation ceremony or to have your testamur mailed to you, you must complete your online Graduate Response Form, available at UConnect > UDo > Student Centre > Self Service > Graduation > Graduation Ceremony Response. The online Graduate Response Form is only accessible from your Student Centre once you have successfully completed the requirements of your program and are identified as eligible to graduate by your faculty. Please allow 3 working days after the release of results for the online Graduate Response form to be available. You must complete the online Graduate Response form and indicate your attendance at a graduation ceremony before an invitational letter can be provided.
Wanting to attend a later graduation ceremony?
If you want you to delay your ceremony, select the 'Not Attending - Mail my Testamur' option within the Graduate Reponse Form, and email gradceremonies@usq.edu.au.
International students only
If you are an overseas graduand who would like to attend a graduation ceremony in Australia, you may need to obtain a visa to enter Australia. If your country requires you to have a written invitation to attend an Australian graduation ceremony in order to obtain a visa, please email the Graduations Office gradceremonies@usq.edu.au.

Ceremony fee
The ceremony fee to attend an Australian graduation ceremony us AUD80. This fee includes:
- hire of academic dress
- guest seats, and
- refreshments.
Payment of AUD80 can be made to the USQ Finance Department +61 7 4631 2583 or via email: usqdebt@usq.edu.au. Please note that all students attending a Graduation Ceremony are required to wear Academic Dress.
