Preparing for graduation

Graduation information is sent to all students who have been identified by their faculty as eligible to graduate from a degree program. The information will be sent to you approximately two weeks after the release of end of semester results. You will be sent:

• general graduation and ceremony information
• an official academic transcript

If you believe you are eligible to graduate and have not received graduation information, contact your faculty for advice.

Applying to graduate

You are required to submit an online Graduate Response Form available from USQConnect > USQAdmin. The online Graduate Response Form is only accessible from USQAdmin once you have successfully completed the requirements of your program and are identified as eligible to graduate by your faculty. Please allow 3 working days after the release of results for the online Graduate Response form to be available.

International students only

If you are an overseas graduand who would like to attend a graduation ceremony in Australia, you may need to obtain a visa to enter Australia. If your country requires you to have a written invitation to attend an Australian graduation ceremony in order to obtain a visa, please email the Graduations Office gradceremonies@usq.edu.au.
