Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Student Internship Pilot Program
During 2013 USQ will commence the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Student Internship Pilot Program - an initiative of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander career Development and Employment Strategy. USQ is committed to closing the gap in employment outcomes between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people and through this strategy aims to enhance the educational, employment, training and career development opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Student Internship Pilot Program will involve the employment of up to two (2) interns (USQ undergraduate students) within USQ faculties and/or departments on a casual basis for a period of up to five (5) weeks.
