Harassment and Discrimination Contact Officer Nomination Information
In accordance with the University's Anti-Discrimination and Freedom from Harassment Policy, Harassment and Discrimination Contact Officers (HDCOs) are appointed by the Vice-Chancellor to provide options to both employees and students for resolving any form of discrimination and harassment. The role of HDCO is voluntary and appointments are for up to three years.
HDCOs provide a valuable contribution to the University in ensuring that individuals are able to make an informed choice about further action.
The University may decide to conduct a recruitment process for additional Harassment and Discrimination Contact Officers at various times throughout the year. Employees will be informed when this Expression of Interest process occurs.
The Workplace Relations and Staff Support team, within Human Resources, provides confidential support, current information, education programs, networking and assistance to HDCOs.
For further information, please contact the Staff Support and Rehabilitation Officer.
