Policies and procedures

The Workplace Health and Safety Procedures have been developed to assist and protect employees at USQ.  Procedures for the management of hazardous substances at the University can be found in the Hazardous Substances Manual.  USQSafe also provide the First Aid Procedures Manual and the Emergency Procedures Manual for the information of all employees.

Additionally, all employees are responsible for making themselves aware of the procedures relating to Workcover and rehabilitation in the event of a workplace injury or illness.

Emergencies

All employees must  familiarise themselves with the emergency procedures and evacuation plans and assembly point maps for the Toowoomba, Fraser Coast and Springfield Campuses.

USQSafe forms, publications and factsheets have also been developed to assist with a range of workplace health and safety procedures at the University.
