5.2 Employee Training

All employees covered by the BUILD Program are encouraged to complete the training specified and it is expected that such training will be completed before their first Learning and Development Review.  In instances where this has not occurred, the training will be a mandatory requirement in their Future Activities Plan for the subsequent year.

The training must include, but is not limited to, the following BUILD Program aspects:

  • Objectives
  • Operational features
  • Context for BUILD
  • Annual Activities Review
  • General principles and processes
  • Managing non-effective performance
  • Scope, frequency, timing and document sequencing
  • Value of objective and honest feedback, including on one's supervisor
