Train the Trainer: Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training

Executive and supervisory employees, and people for whom training others is a significant part of their job.

Course Aims:

The Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training is an accredited course that will provide you with a nationally recognised cross-industry qualification. 

Key Objectives:   

At the conclusion of this course participants will have achieved competency in the following eight units of competency that make up the Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training:

  • Plan Assessment
  • Conduct Assessment
  • Review Assessment
  • Train Small Groups
  • Plan a Series of Training Sessions
  • Plan and Promote a Training Program
  • Deliver Training Sessions
  • Review Training

Course Outline: 

The course is structured over five days and covers the eight units of competency detailed above.  Participants are required to complete an assessment project during the five days of training and will be required to complete a major training assignment following the workshop, in order to meet the competency standards for the Certificate IV.

Participants will receive comprehensive written material in workbook and reference format.
