Course Aims: |
This course prepares you to respond to an emergency situation by providing you with the skills and knowledge in first aid treatment. At the conclusion of the course, you will be able to manage an emergency situation utilising basic emergency action principles as outlined in the first aid book as an Accredited First Aid person. This standard certificate course in first aid meets the requirements of employers, federal and state government departments and statutory authorities. It is designed to teach the fundamental principles, knowledge and skills of first aid and to prepare people to give competent emergency care until trained assistance is available. Queensland Ambulance course materials are provided and all successful participants who receive a Statement of Attainment are covered by 'Statement of Attainment Holders' Treatment Risk Liability Insurance. |
