Academic Development and Outside Studies Program

The Academic Development and Outside Studies Program (ADOSP) provides a period of paid leave for sustained research, scholarly activity or professional experience for academic employees.  As an additional benefit it may also help academic employees establish or renew links with colleagues in appropriate fields outside the University for the purpose of enhancing their own research within the University. 

Academic employees considering applying for a period of ADOSP should familiarise themselves with the following:

The due dates for ADOSP applications which are to be taken in Semesters One, Two and/or Three, 2010 are as follows:

Call for applications 29 June 2009
Completed by applicant, and forward to HoD  14 August 2009
Completed by HoD and forward to Dean 
(and where appropriate the Financial Delegate where additional funds are being provided from outside the Faculty, eg Director ORHD, Research Centre Director etc)
28 August 2009
If applicable, reviewed by Provost (Fraser Coast), Director (Springfield), Research Centre Director and forwarded to Faculty ADOSP Committee 11 September 2009
Recommendations of Faculty ADOSP Committee forwarded to HR 2 October 2009
