Salary packaging is available to University employees through the USQ Enterprise Agreement 2010-2013. Participation is voluntary and the decision to enter into a salary packaging arrangement is a personal decision made by individual employees.
All full time and fractional employees with a service fraction of 50% or greater who are on continuing appointments or fixed term appointments for two years or more, will be eligible to participate in salary packaging arrangements.
Benefits available for packaging
The University will continue to administer salary packaging of superannuation contributions at no cost to employees. Further information on superannuation salary packaging is available from Linda Lowien.
Other salary packaging benefits
The University has engaged the services of Remunerations Services (Qld) Pty Ltd ("RemServ") to administer and manage other salary packaging arrangements at the University for an administration fee (payable by the employee). The range of salary packaging benefits offered by the University include:
