Business analysis and design:

  • Undertake the analysis of client business processes and requirements, identify and prepare specifications, system and functional requirement documents, for existing and potential business applications.
  • Assist with the development and preparation of business cases for new application development.
  • In conjunction with Division of ICT Services staff and clients develop effective testing strategies and test plans, and maintain relevant regression testing regimens.
  • Oversee software development life cycles for business applications.
  • Application development
  • Undertake analysis, development, implementation, integration, testing, support, maintenance, and enhancement to support core ICT applications, including custom and commercial applications, Internet and Web applications, to ensure required high-quality standards and agreed service levels are met.
  • Participate in the provision of specialist application development to formal ICT projects and project teams.
  • Participate in the progressive rotation of Analyst
