How to Make an Internal Call

  1. Pick up the handset.
  2. Listen for dial tone.
  3. Dial the required extension number.
  4. Listen for ring tone.

How To Make an External Call

  1. Pick up the handset.
  2. Listen for the dial tone.
  3. Dial 0 then the required phone number (Note: there is no secondary dial tone).
  4. Listen for ring tone.

Last Number Redial

If your phone does not have a last number redial key, you can save the last number dialled by:

  1. After dialling the number that you wish to save press recall (or Flash on the older NEC phones).
  2. Dial # 4.
  3. Hang up.

When you want to redial that number:

  1. Pick up the handset and listen for the dial tone.
  2. Dial # 7.

How to Make Conference Calls

This facility allows up to six extensions to be set up in a conference call:

  1. Establish a call with the first person in the conference call.
  2. Press Recall (or Flash on the older NEC Phones).
  3. Dial the number of the next person to be included in the conference.
  4. Press Recall.
  5. Dial * 4 to add them to the conference.
  6. Repeat steps 2 to 5 to add additional members to the conference.

Note: Conference calls can be set up between internal or external callers, or a combination of both.
