AutoPlay Messages in Outlook

If you find that your Voicemail Messages are automatically playing the moment you open it, you can change this setting through Outlook's Desktop PhoneManager menu if you wish.

  1. From Microsoft Outlook, open the Tools menu and then select the Desktop PhoneManager command.
  2. Click on Work Offline when prompted.
  3. In the Server Settings dialog box which is presented, check that the Server Name is callxpr1 and Mailbox is your extension number.
  4. Choose OK.
  5. In the Record and Playback dialog box, check that Phone Extension is your extension.
  6. Under AutoPlay messages, click on the drop-down list and select None.
  7. Choose Apply.
  8. Choose OK.
