Student Computer Labs

The Division of ICT Services currently manages 20 general purpose computer laboratories that are used by USQ students - 11 laboratories located at the Toowoomba Campus, four at Fraser Coast, and five at Springfield.

The Division of ICT Services collaborates with the academic community to determine and pre-plan the hardware and software requirements and services required for each semester. Currently the majority of these laboratories have Windows platforms but we also have one Macintosh laboratory and one Thin-client laboratory. We also provide the capability for students to connect their laptops to the student ethernet or wireless network (wireless only at Fraser Coast Campus).

The University is not a private ISP and the facilities and services provided are intended for supporting the academic program. We encourage all students to familiarise themselves with the Code of Practice for the Acceptable Use of IT Resources.

Our aim is to provide a high level of service and support related to the facilities that we manage. If you have any feedback or suggestions on where we can improve our services and facilities, please do so via our suggestion boxes or by contacting our staff. If you have any questions, contact the ICT Service Desk and our staff will do their best to assist you.
