Hours of Access
Opening Procedure
USQ Security will open all K Block labs between 7:00am and 8:00am (AEST) each day including weekends. (During recess or quiet periods Security may choose to keep closed K109, K110, K111, S104 and S107).
Fraser Coast computer laboratories are available 24/7.
Security will also:

Check the labs at approximately 6:00pm (AEST) and then at least every two to three hours throughout the night.

Use their discretion regarding the numbers of student remaining in each lab. As a guide, if there are less than three students in a lab and there is room for them elsewhere the lab should be closed.
Closing Procedure
First Level
S104 is only available between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm (AEST) Monday to Friday. For classes or use outside of these hours please contact the ICT Service Desk for assistance.
Second Level

If the students in K109 can be moved to K106, then K109 will be closed.

If the students in K111 can be moved to K102 or K106, then K111 will be closed.

If the students in K110 can be moved to the K102 or K106, then K110 will be closed.

If the students in K103 can be moved to the K102 Mac machines, K103 will be closed.
Third Level
If the students in K102, can be moved to K105 or K106, then K102 will be closed.
Fourth Level
K105 and K106 will be available at all times.
Requesting a Lab Be Opened
If laboratories are closed and students require access to a lab, they should contact the on-campus security guard by using the phone in the K Block lab foyer.
