Recommended Hardware

Recommended Specifications

The recommended specifications outline the features that should be considered when purchasing a computer to use while studying at USQ. Choosing a platform with these specifications should allow students to complete a four to five year study program without having to purchase a totally new system. These standards should also suffice as reasonable guidelines for machines used for personal/office productivity, eg Internet access, email, word processing, database, or information handling. However even new computers will require software and perhaps even hardware upgrades over time.  Computers with specifications below those shown may work with all or some of the University's infrastructure, but this cannot be guaranteed.
