International staff at USQ
There are a number of staff at USQ who are responsible for the recruitment and admission of international students from around the globe. These staff are here to help students with their initial questions, through the application process, to their transition into study in Australia.
They also establish and maintain business relationships with USQ representatives to build a network of support for our students in their own country. Representative can provide a variety of support from application assistance to teaching.
Overall management of this group of staff members is the responsibility of the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Student Management) who is supported by an Executive Assistant.
The Pro-Vice Chancellor (Student Management) has governance of the Internationalisation Plan 2007-2011 (PDF* 53.6K), which sets out vision for international operations at the University of Southern Queensland.
Marketing and Recruitment
Marketing and recruitment activities are overseen by the Director, Global Marketing & Recruitment who is supported by the following teams:
The international Recruitment team represents USQ internationally to recruit students for studies either: on-campus, off-campus, online, study abroad, or exchange.
International Admissions manage all international applications for USQ programs from enquiry, through application, to receiving a letter of offer and through the transition to study in Australia.
Partnerships
Development and management of the University's education partnerships is overseen by the Student Experience Director (Partners) who is supported by the Partner Management team. This team manages the relationships between USQ and its Partners as well as overseeing accreditations between Australia and international countries.
