Quality and accreditation

The University of Southern Queensland (USQ) is a self-accrediting, degree granting higher education institution, created by an Act of the State Government of Queensland.

USQ is funded by the Commonwealth of Australia and subject to the Australian higher education quality frameworks including the National Protocols and the National Code of Practice for Registration Authorities and Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2007.

Qualifications awarded by USQ are internationally recognised and where appropriate accredited in each country of operation.

Working with USQ

USQ has a reputation as a leader in flexible learning providing international education to students from more than 100 countries while maintaining and building a strong network of international Education Partners, Support Offices and USQ Representatives around the globe.

Over the years, USQ has developed partnerships with organisations who provide our programs to international students within their local communities in various countries around the world as well as in Australia. Of the 25,000 students studying with USQ, approximately 5,000 choose to study off-shore programs through one of USQ's Education Partners.

USQ regularly engages with our network of current USQ Partners on local teaching and learning to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes for the local community, the Partner and the University. USQ resources* are made available to Partners via online facilities including links to study materials*.

USQ continues to make connections with prospective USQ Partners in various countries.
