Achieving success in higher education is important for the future of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Since its establishment, the Centre for Australian indigenous Knowledges has provided assistance and support to a large number Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students who have successfully completed undergraduate and/or postgraduate programs.

These Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students have completed programs in a range of discipline areas including educationsciencesbusinessarts, and engineering and surveying.

Programs offered by the Centre for Australian Indigenous Knowledges such as the Indigenous Higher Education Pathways Program (IHEPP), aim to assist increasing numbers of Indigenous students to complete undergraduate degrees, then continue to achieve even greater success in postgraduate study.
