Success in Maths in Economics online tutorials
Arithmetic** - useful keys on the calculator; order of calculation, percentage change, decimals, fractions, ratios, reading tables.
Graphs of straight lines and curves** - types of graphs, setting up graphs, plotting points, graphing from a table of values, areas of graphs.
Algebra** - what are variables, what are formulae, substitutions, interpretation.
Further graphing** - gradients, special lines, Production Productivity Frontier.
Readiness testing in mathematics (USQConnect username and password required) to self assess your knowledge and skills.
Using calculators - free online booklets on a range of calculators.
Meet-Up online and on-campus workshops are run by a student leader who has successfully completed the course. The workshops focus on learning skills with course content. Workshop activities provide help with preparing for assignments and exams. Students will be notified through the course Study Desk.
