You are not alone in your learning when you study at USQ. The Learning Centre (TLC) knows the demands you often face when studying.

For a limited time in 2013, we are offering you a free online support service called Smarthinking to complement our existing suite of student support.

Yes - it's free just like TLC’s other academic support services. And, with TLC-Smarthinking, you can access it 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - whenever you need academic support for your assignments!

The subjects available are:

mathematics – basic mathematics, algebra and statistics.
writing - paragraphs and essays.

Writing support is available for Business/Technical or Creative writing styles and for students from non-English speaking backgrounds.

Get started in TLC-Smarthinking

It’s easy! USQ students are automatically enrolled!

You are strongly encouraged to take a virtual tour and read the instructions about how TLC-Smarthinking works before you enrol to get support for your assignments.

To start using Smarthinking:

go to the TLC-Smarthinking
sign in with your USQ username and password
select on Enrol me.

Please note that Smarthinking is best supported by Internet Explorer version 7 (IE7) or higher, Mozilla’s Firefox version 3.0 or higher, and Safari 5.0 or higher. Smarthinking technology is not currently supported by Google Chrome web browser.
