Workshops

There are a number of workshops offered to all USQ students. Face to face and online alternatives are also available.

  • Orientation workshops - a range of ‘Getting started' sessions held in Orientation week each semester
      
  • Learning skills workshops - a series of workshops are held during the semester to help you manage your study
      
  • Maths workshops - includes calculator and course based workshops, e.g. statistics, economics
      
  • Chemistry workshops - two-day on-campus workshop for nursing students.

Online or invited workshops

Communication for Academic Purposes (CAP) online

A 50 hour online CAP course for students who are uncertain about commencing university study. Recommended if English is a second language (USQConnect username and password required).

Introductory Academic Program (IAP)

A 72 hour on campus program designed for International students who are under the AusAID program. The overall aim of the IAP is to facilitate transition for students from a variety of educational and cultural backgrounds into the university culture. There are no credit points awarded for this program.
