Success in Maths for Beginning Engineering Workshop

This two day maths workshop is for students who may have had bad experiences at school, not enough exposure to mathematics or the exposure was a number of years ago. The workshop covers:

• Fundamentals of arithmetic
• Basic algebra
• Functions and relations
• Logarithms and related functions
• Trigonometry.

If you are unsure if you need to attend this workshop, please complete the online readiness test for ENM1500 students or the online readiness test for ENM1600. 

Please do not register for this workshop if you have adequate skills in this area.

How much does it cost?

The cost of the two day workshop is AUD70.00 and includes your materials for the day. Payment for the workshop must be made prior to attending the workshop and can be made:

• in person at the USQ Finance Department
• by mail (please include the workshop name, date and location with this payment)
