Review and evaluation of the learning resources

The final stage of course design is the Review and Evaluation of learning resources and approaches to teaching. You can access the resources below to assist you in determining whether your learning resources and teaching approach are effective for students. You can also use these to check whether your course design has appropriately addressed strategic curriculum aims such as graduate skills and attributes, internationalisation of curricula and/or professional standards.  

USQ uses the Approach, Deploy, Results, Improve, or ADRI for short, as a quality process. You can access or implement a range of review and evaluation processes, including:

• The formal, university mandated evaluation process using the Student Evaluation of Teaching Survey (SETS) and Student Experience of Learning and Teaching Survey (SELTS)
• Quality focused Course and/or Program Review (CPR)
• Tailored, in-class evaluation processes organised by the lecturer
• Formative peer review of teaching
• Benchmarking as an alternative option to evaluation
