Induction for new academic staff
All new academic staff are to participate in a one day induction workshop and an individual learning contract. This activity is structured around a process of defining learning outcomes, implementing strategies and evaluating outcomes. The learning contract includes:

completion of an online disabilities awareness module

developing a small action learning plan

implementation of the action learning plan

meeting with LTSU faculty representatives

Online induction course
An online induction course on USQStudyDesk is available, and USQ staff can self-enrol in it. When you click on the link, you will be requested to to enrol yourself in this course, and by clicking yes you will be provided with access.
While this course is specifically designed for sessional (part-time and casual) staff, it may be useful to other teaching staff as well.
