Induction for new academic staff

All new academic staff are to participate in a one day induction workshop and an individual learning contract. This activity is structured around a process of defining learning outcomes, implementing strategies and evaluating outcomes. The learning contract includes:

  • completion of an online disabilities awareness module
  • developing a small action learning plan
  • implementation of the action learning plan
  • meeting with LTSU faculty representatives

While this course is specifically designed for sessional (part-time and casual) staff, it will be useful to other USQ teaching staff as well. Note that access to the course requires a USQ username and password.
