Scholarship of tertiary teaching and learning summit
The Learning and Teaching Support Unit (LTSU) hosted a Summit on the topic of the Scholarship of Tertiary Teaching and Learning at USQ on 2 November, 2009.
The purpose of this Summit was to review the importance of SoTTL to the development of learning and teaching at USQ, and to seek ways to maximise outcomes from the USQ 2010 Year of Research.
The aim was to engage the expertise of USQ colleagues in the exploration of:
-
essential components of SoTTL;
-
motivations and barriers to SoTTL at USQ; and
-
realistic strategies and actions that each participant’s office, centre, or faculty could adopt to promote and support SoTTL at USQ and the scholarship potential of USQ staff
