A/Professor Michele Scoufis

Associate Professor Michele Scoufis is the Director, Learning and Teaching at The University of New South Wales (UNSW). Michele is currently involved in developing and supporting university-wide initiatives to further the quality of learning and teaching and create learning communities amongst academics and staff involved in learning and teaching. She is particularly interested in working with colleagues in documenting their case for promotion in relation to teaching excellence and working with teaching teams in integrating graduate attributes into the curriculum.

She is currently heading a Carrick project that aims to establish tools and a model whereby teaching, like research, may be externally peer reviewed so that evidence can be provided for good teaching within the academic promotion process.
