Learning and teaching committee

The Learning and Teaching Committee (LTEC) has the responsibility for continuous improvement at USQ. The Committee is chaired by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Global Learning) with membership comprising the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Learning and Teaching), and representatives of faculties and academic units, Learning Resource Development and Support, Academic Learning Support and Student Management Division.

The Committee's Terms of Reference are:

  1. To develop the University's Learning and Teaching Plan 
  2. To develop mechanisms to facilitate the implementation of the University's Learning and Teaching Plan 
  3. To evaluate, disseminate and share information on good practice in learning and teaching 
  4. To oversee and promote professional development activities designed to enhance learning and teaching 
  5. To promote innovation in learning, teaching and assessment, including the allocation and monitoring of the University's Teaching Development Fund
  6. To oversee the preparation of appropriate documents to external agencies concerned with learning and teaching, on behalf of the University.
