E-assessment

E-assessment is the use of network or web technologies to facilitate student learning.

Many of us already use technologies to administer and support assessment. However, E-assessment uses technology to facilitate student activity online, such as:

  • completion of online assessments, such as quizzes
  • interpersonal communication
  • posting comments and resources
  • peer learning and group activities
