Post evaluation toolkit
Post-evaluation seeks to understand and explain the experiences of students and academic staff. By doing so, it assesses the effectiveness of course design and teaching, so as to facilitate continuous improvement of the course.
At USQ, post-evaluation (shaded areas of the evaluation cycle) refers to the transformation of data obtained from evaluation activities into actions or initiatives that enhance the quality of teaching, courses and programs, and communicate these actions or initiatives to both current and prospective students and organisational stakeholders. This communication aspect is commonly known as 'closing the loop'.
This toolkit is designed to assist academic staff in the process of collecting, interpreting, using and closing the loop on students' evaluation data for the continuous improvement of courses and programs. It offers a collection of tools, templates, examples and tips. These can be easily adapted to suit individual needs.
