2011 USQ Library Poetry Competition

The 2011 USQ Library Poetry Competition is now closed.

Winners were announced at a poetry reading on Wednesday 7 September at the Toowoomba Library.

The 2011 winners are: 

First prize - Chrysalid by Vanessa Page (*PDF - 31KB)

Second prize - fluffy white clouds and fat yella sushine in a soft blue sky by Scott Bradburn (*PDF - 27KB) 

Third prize - Reality by Nola Passmore (*PDF - 7KB)

Highly Commended

The Last Green Leaf by Rodolfo Espada Jr (*PDF - 8KB)

The Librarian by Nola Passmore (*PDF - 35KB)

Contented to a "T" by Sharon Page (*PDF - 31KB)

All entries will be displayed in the Toowoomba and Springfield campus Libraries throughout September.

The 2012 USQ Library Poetry Competiton will be run in July and August.
