Standards On-Line Premium

Access the Standards On-Line Premium database

Contains the full text of over 6,000 Australian Standards and citations and abstracts, only - no full text, of ISO, IEC, DIN, ETSI and JIS standards.

It is a collection of standardised solutions (standards) covering subject areas in the technical and business areas. It is only likely to be of interest to staff and students in the Faculty of Engineering & Surveying and in the Faculty of Business.

Please Note: Although several users are able to search this database simultaneously, only two users at a time are able to view the full text of a Standard. If you see a "View User" icon next to a Standard, instead of a "View Document" icon, then someone else has logged into Australian Standards Online before you. You will need to wait until they have finished, before you can view the complete text of any of the Standards. Please log out and wait approx. 20 minutes before logging in.

If a Standard you want to access has "Request to be unlocked" next to it, it is NOT an Australian Standard but comes from one of international standards collections ISO, IEC, DIN, ETSI or JIS. The library does not subcribe to these standards and only lecturers are able to request to have standards unlocked for teaching purposes, as there is a cost involved.

If you download and save a Australian Standards document onto your computer please be aware that it will only remain a valid file for a period of 48 hours from when you downloaded it. This is a publisher restriction.
