Classes and tours
The USQ Library offers tours of the Library and classes to students to assist with finding information for their assignments. Library classes are also offered to off-campus students (including separate Residential School classes). EndNote training is offered to academic staff, researchers and students.

Library tours

A tour will provide information about services, resources and facilities the Library offers as well as brief information about Library regulations. |

All students welcome.
Tours of the Library can also be arranged for people not affiliated with USQ, including school groups wishing to use our facilities. There is no minimum or maximum number of participants.

Finding Information for your Assignments - Introduction
| Overview: |
This introductory class discusses the concepts of Information quality, Information sources and how to evaluate information. This class will also cover Library homepage and its features, how to use the Library catalogue to locate resources for your assignments. |

Finding Information for your Assignments - Advanced
| Overview: |
This advanced class will show you how to access online databases to find journal articles for your assignments, how to find and use electronic books. |

Finding Information for your Assignments - Integrated Introduction and Advanced

This integrated introduction and advanced class combines all the content of both introduction and advanced for those who want to attend one class rather than two. |

Residential School workshops for Library Skills
| Overview: |
This session covers how to use the online library resources such as ebooks and online journals, how to use the Library catalogue, and how eligible students can request loans and photocopies from USQ Library. |

EndNote training
| Overview: |
This class covers basic features of EndNote, starting your EndNote library, working in your manuscript or word document with EndNote as well as formatting citations and generating a list of references or bibliography in a chosen referencing style. |
