Submitting a resource

To submit resources to the Digital Resource Collection (DiReCt):

For materials included in the Course Pack contact your MDO, as usual.

For materials not included in your Course Pack:

Email your list of readings to:  direct@usq.edu.au

Ensure you include the following:

  • Complete citation
  • Course code
  • Reading numbers (if applicable)
  • Semester and year to be hosted
  • Course examiner's name (if not you)

Alternatively, you may choose to submit resources online yourself:

  1. Click on the Add a Resource link.
     
  2. The Course Details tab will display.
     
  3. Enter the course details - Fields marked with an * are mandatory.
     
  4. On the bottom of the page, click Next - the Resource Details tab will display.
     
  5. Select the resource type from the drop down list.
     
  6. The page will reload - this may take a little time, please be patient.
     
  7. Enter the resource details.
     
  8. On the bottom of the page, click Next - the Review Tab will display.
     
  9. Click Submit for Moderation at the bottom of the page.
     
  10. If all mandatory fields have not been completed, then Submit for Moderation will not appear.  Instead Save Draft will appear.
     
  11. Near the top of the page are tabs - Course Details, Resource Details, Review.
     
  12. There will be an * on the tab which has missing mandatory fields.
     
  13. Click on the tab and complete the mandatory fields.
     
  14. Click Next to get to the review Tab - click Submit for Moderation.
