ACM into EndNote

1.      When you find a reference that you wish to import to EndNote, click on the title of the reference.

2.      When the full details are displayed, look for Display Formats and click on EndNote.

3.      A new window will open, displaying the reference. Select the whole reference (Ctrl+A) and copy it (Ctrl+C) then close the window.

4.      Open a new file in your word processor or text editor, and paste the reference into it  (Ctrl+V)

5.      Continue adding further references to this file, leaving a blank line between references.

6.      Save the file as Text Only (*.txt).

7.      When importing this file, select EndNote Import as the Import Option.

The records will appear in a new EndNote window. Now is a good time to check the records and to add your own information before including these records in your working library. To view all records in your library go to References/ Show All References

To return to the database's log-in screen close this window
