ASCE into EndNote

1.      To search a particular journal, select its title from the drop down box in the ASCE Online journals. This will take you to a screen where where you will be able to search that journal by the current issue, or across all of its issues.

2.      To search across ALL journals select any title from the drop down box in the ASCE Online journals. Then, at the next screen, select Advanced Search (on the left). At the next screen, under Select Publications, click on All Journals.

3.      To mark Records Click in the check box next to the article's citation. You can mark 20 articles at a time.

4.       From the drop-down box Article Options select Download Citation(s) in: and choose either  EndNote (Generic) or EndNote (RIS). If your referencing style uses abbreviated journal titles choose RIS. Note however, there are no abstracts

4.      EndNote will open and you will be asked to choose an EndNote Library in which to import.

The records will appear in a new EndNote window. Now is a good time to check the records and to add your own information before including these records in your working library. To view all records in your library go to References/ Show All References
