AustLit into EndNote
- Search AustLit and mark records
- At the foot of the screen choose Marked and format as Tagged Text
- Then choose Show

- When the records are displayed save them as a plain text (.txt) file
- To import the records you will need a AustLit filter. This is available from the University of Queensland Filters Page
- Right click on the filter and select Save As.
- Save the filter into your EndNote Filters Folder. This is usually found on your c: drive under Program Files/ EndNote/ Filters.
- If you have EndNote open when you import the filter you will need to close the program and then re-open it. This will then place the filter in correct alphabetic order.
- Import your downloaded records using this filter.
The records will appear in a new EndNote window. Now is a good time to check the records and to add your own information before including these records in your working library. To view all records in your library go to References/ Show All References
To return to the database's log-in screen close this window
