Austlit import

  1. When the records are displayed save them as a plain text (.txt) file
  2. To import the records you will need a AustLit filter. This is available from the                                  University of Queensland Filters Page
  3. Right click on the filter and select Save As.
  4. Save the filter into your EndNote Filters Folder. This is usually found on your c: drive under Program Files/ EndNote/ Filters.
  5. If you have EndNote open when you import the filter you will need to close the program and then re-open it. This will then place the filter in correct alphabetic order.
  6. Import your downloaded records using this filter.

The records will appear in a new EndNote window. Now is a good time to check the records and to add your own information before including these records in your working library. To view all records in your library go to References/ Show All References
