Students and Staff from Other UniversitiesAll students and staff of those Australian universities who are members of the University Library Australia agreement, of overseas universities and of the Southern Queensland Institute of TAFE (SQIT) are able to join the USQ Library (Toowoomba or Springfield campuses) as Reciprocal Borrowers for no charge. Bremer TAFE students are able to join the USQ Library (Springfield Campus only) as Reciprocal Borrowers for no charge. Your membership will be valid until February 28 of the following year. The Fraser Coast campus library does not participate in reciprocal borrowing. Students studying through Open Universities Australia should contact the university providing the study unit or join as an Associate Borrower. Borrowing MaterialBorrowing must be conducted in person at the USQ Library. There is no postal service for Reciprocal Borrowers. Please see the Borrowing Information section for more information. Students of overseas Universities You must obtain a letter of introduction from your home university Library. This letter must be on official university letterhead, contain the contact details of the Lending Services supervisor (or equivalent), outline the course in which you are enrolled, and must provide a statement of indemnity for lost or damaged material borrowed from USQ Library. To join you must produce the following:
SQIT Students You must first contact the SQIT Library to arrange Reciprocal Borrowing. SQIT will email your details to the USQ Library. You must then join in person at the USQ Library Loans Desk. To join you must produce the following:
