Course development process
DeC provides support to faculty staff for the development of learning resources for on-campus and off-campus students. There is no direct cost from DeC to faculties for preparation of course packages.
-
Materials can be prepared by either:
-
the DeC production system, where materials are prepared and published in DeC or
-
by faculty staff using the ICE publishing system to write/edit the course materials (with DeC support).
-
Materials can be produced in print, online and/or CD/DVD modes as requested by course leader.
-
Copyright guidelines must be followed whether material is published by DeC or by faculty staff members.
-
DeC aims to provide complete learning packages to all off-campus students before the start of the semester.
-
At the request of the course leader, DeC makes available in the USQ Bookshop copies of materials for purchase by on-campus students.
