Learning Systems and Support (LSS)
The LSS team offers technology support, configuration, reporting, workflow, security and other functional aspects of a wide range of learning and teaching, library and repository systems. The team reports to the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Learning, Teaching and Quality) and assists its units, Creative Media Services, Digital Media Support, Learning and Resource Development and Learning and Teaching Support and also the Library departments of the University.
The main categories of applications to do with learning systems are:
- learning management systems
- assessment-based systems
- social networking and other academic tools
- electronic publishing and digital resources/repositories
- library-based systems
- research output and repository systems.
Learning Systems and Support Service Catalogue
The services catalogue provides an indication of the level of support USQ staff can expect to receive from the Learning Systems and Support (LSS) group within Learning Environments and Media (LEM). LSS provides a proactive approach in providing advice, identifying and solving technical problems, configuration and testing of core learning and teaching systems associated with USQ.
