Plagiarism Detection

What is this service?

LSS is responsible for supporting the use of plagiarism identification software (Turnitin) at USQ, to enable students and/or staff to check written assignment work for inaccurate citation or potential plagiarism.

What does this service include?

• Supporting the use of, and issues arising whilst using, the plagiarism detection service.
• Assistance with issues integrating with the StudyDesk.
• Information and support sessions on the use of Turnitin.
• Problem diagnosis and collaboration for result resolution.
• Collaboration with ICT Application Support, Service Delivery and Training.
• Testing upgrades and enhancements to the system.
• Creating and maintaining resources and documentation.

What is not included in this service?

• Result analysis of reports.

• Turnitin

Contact the ICT Service Desk or use the ICT Self Service for service requests, to log a failure or request an enhancement to an existing application.
