Assessment

Assessment will depend on which course you are studying. Full details of assessment procedures will be outlined in the introductory material received in the study package including information on:

• examination procedures
• material which may or may not be used during the examination.

Assignments

Normally, each course will require the submission (by post) of several assignments or reports by scheduled due dates. Once these assignments have been marked by USQ academic staff, they will be returned to you with a mark and feedback to further assist your learning. 

Examinations

Students may also need to sit for examinations. USQ organises exam centres all over Australia and overseas, so you can sit for examinations at a centre near your home. Exams are held at the end of each semester and usually take place during working hours. Students are to familiarize themselves with the examination procedures. Timetables are sent out well in advance either via the post or email.

Final results

Results are released to all students approximately two weeks after the end of each examination period. Results are available from USQAdmin. Your final grade will appear on the first screen when you log on to USQConnect for 48 hours after the results are released.
