The Centre's educational, research and professional capability is built around a dynamic network of individual Research Associates and institutional alliances.  The capabilities of the Centre include expertise in:

  • natural resources and environment policy, law and institutional arrangements

  • biodiversity management and ecological assessment

  • resource, environment and regional economic analysis

  • performance measures, evaluation and auditing and indicator development

  • community dynamics, capacity building and participation

  • environment and community psychology

  • spatial mapping, analysis and modelling

  • integrated catchment planning and management
