Charles Sluga is an internationally recognised professional watercolourist, highly regarded for his unique vision and versatility in the medium. Charles is an enthusiastic, popular and passionate teacher and runs workshops all over Australia and overseas and has led eight painting tours to Europe. He has been invited to be represented at the New York Art Expo and is featured in the American watercolour book – ‘Splash II: The Best of Watercolour’ (released 2010). He is also one of the featured artists on the Winsor and Newton website and is one of the few artists represented in their latest catalogue.

Course Synopsis

There is more to being a Watercolour Artist than simply producing a pretty picture! By challenging standard concepts of what and how to paint you will begin the journey of becoming an Artist and not just a painter. You will discover how versatile this medium can be. Charles will cover the complete process of painting in watercolour- from the initial concept to the final masterpiece. A course designed not only to develop your skills, but also to teach you to think like a watercolourist and artist. You will learn a variety of techniques to help you produce expressive paintings and develop your personal vision.
