Course Synopsis

This watercolour workshop will focus on colour mixing, using just three primary colours to create all other mixtures. You will learn colour theory using the CYM colour wheel and the main subjects will be flowers and still-life, Jan’s passion and expertise!
It will be a fun and informative four days, exploring techniques of watercolour painting with the beauty of nature, learning about the qualities and temperature of light and its effect on other colours. A lesson on composition will be included as well as photography tips to get the most out of your subject matter.

As the class is limited to twelve students, you will receive plenty of person attention, guided by a tutor whose goal is to see her student encouraged, inspired and more knowledgeable in their artistic journey!
