Don has a real passion for his painting and has celebrated success with many exhibitions over the past 25 years. This enthusiastic and energetic painter is renowned for his generous and creative painting workshops and draws upon his many years of experience to encourage and inspire his students. Like most artists, Don’s work is in a constant state of flux with his private works and commissions having roots in the traditional, but more recently, his work is being flavoured with a generous amount of Impressionism.

Course Synopsis

This course is for those who are painting already, but now want to move forward and put more light and drama into their Acrylic Paintings.

Here’s a way forward – Come and immerse yourself in painting as Don shows you how to get so much more from this exciting and expressive medium.

LEARN: How these paints work....Mix and apply colour, bright and light without making mud…..Better brush techniques & much more...

Challenge yourself; learn as you paint using techniques developed by Don which add richness or subtlety of colour and tone for better paintings. There will be strong emphasis on gaining greater understanding of ‘The Paint’, The Process” and “The Technique’ without struggling. Have fun as you paint your way to success with better understanding through carefully considered painting exercises and subject choices designed to grow your knowledge and skills for better painting results.
