Class Synopsis

This workshop is designed for anyone who has a burning desire to better understand their digital SLR camera and use the most up-to-date version of Adobe Photoshop, CS5.

Over the course of the workshop you will familiarise yourself with your camera’s controls and settings, and how to get the best out of your lens and flash. While exploring these possibilities, we will go on numerous field trips both on-campus and off. Additionally we have the opportunity to photograph several professional models during our practical photography content of the workshop.

Digital photography these days isn’t complete without the ability to adjust digital files, and that is where Photoshop comes in. During the workshop many days will be devoted to investigating what can be done and extending these possibilities to producing an end folio exhibition for the final day of the McGregor School. All in all a great workshop for the beginner to intermediate photographer!
